Throughout my career, I've guided diverse clients toward their financial goals. Being a counselor and trusted advisor, walking alongside them on their financial journeys, is deeply fulfilling. I often recall my first client, whose life insurance policy from Principal Life was approved before I could even deliver it. Sadly, he passed away before that happened and so I keep that policy in my desk as a constant reminder of my work's significance.
I'm all about being upfront, creative, and dedicated to my work. I value honesty and making sure my clients understand the solutions that are truly best for them. This means they can trust that I'm listening to their concerns and that the options they choose are designed to help them reach and maybe even go beyond their goals.
Besides working in finance, I've run Family Medical Equipment and Supply and The Plaid Daisy since 2001. I have an awesome team that helps me focus on my clients. As a second-generation business owner, I've combined my business know-how with my financial work to help others manage the challenges of family and business. My unique perspective lets me create solutions that truly fit my clients' needs, drawing inspiration from my family's own experience with financial advice.
I live in Bradenton, Florida with my wife Heather, who's also my business partner. Our kids Campbell and Simon both served in the Army, Elise works with us at Legacy Design Advisors, and Grace is a junior at Xavier University. I love wine, traveling, golfing, and hanging out with family and friends. Since moving to Florida, I've been involved with the 40 Carrots Family Center and the Suncoast School for Innovative Studies, and I've volunteered at the Sarasota Wine, Women, and Shoes event for the past two years.
